Elisa joined Eppendorf in 2021 as a Product Marketing Manager for automated Liquid Handling and PCR devices. She has previous experience as a Global Product Manager for automated electrophoresis solutions and as a Laboratory Engineer contributing to quality control, WGS, and throughput increase by implementing liquid handling systems. Elisa obtained an MSc in Molecular Biotechnology from Goethe University Frankfurt, focusing on developing methods to identify genetic variation in large populations of DNA samples using NGS platforms.

Dr. Tim Schommartz
Tim joined Eppendorf in 2016 as an Application Specialist for automated Liquid Handling, where he acquired a deep understanding of automating lab routines. He is now the Global Marketing Manager for automated Liquid Handling and plates. Tim has a broad background in diverse workflows, ranging from molecular biology, cell and infection biology, immunology, and biochemistry. He studied molecular life sciences in Germany and Singapore, and obtained a PhD in Virology from the University of Hamburg, focusing on viral cross-species infection.
