On-demand

Gillian Browne, PhD
Gillian received a BSc in Biomedical Sciences, followed by a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Cancer Biology in the UK. She pursued five years of postdoctoral research in the USA and during this time co-authored 13 peer reviewed publications in the field of cancer biology, with a focus on gene regulation. Gillian spent her most recent years enabling other scientists and colleagues with her work at companies. Today, she serves as a global strategic scientific and business partner to the commercial teams as well as to our gene editing clients around the world, ensuring the client is at the core of all we do.

In this webinar, you will see:
The ability to perform large-scale, whole-genome screens has allowed for the rapid identification of gene pathways and targets relevant to health and disease. Several considerations need to be taken into account when designing your experiment:
Topics covered:
- Knock-in, knockout, overexpression and knock-down
- Choosing between lentivirus and synthetic delivery methods
- Pooled vs. arrayed screens
In this webinar, we will discuss all these options to help you choose the right format and approach for your CRISPR screening applications.
